208 Nigerian Army Officers Take Promotion Exam

The Nigerian Army on Sunday began the 2025 lieutenant to captain practical promotion examination in Kaduna.

A total of 208 officers are participating in the week-long process, organized by the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC).

The TRADOC commander, Kevin Aligbe, urged candidates to stay committed to the task, as the exam assesses their knowledge in command, tactics, and physical fitness.

He assured them that the process would be fair and transparent.

The officers will be tested in various subjects, including military tactics, map reading, communication, weapons handling, driving, administration, and physical fitness. French language skills will also be evaluated.

To maintain the credibility of the exam, the army has put in place strict security measures, including video surveillance and supervision by experienced officers.
