Akure, Ondo State – In a heartfelt Christmas message to the citizens of Ondo State, Governor Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has expressed optimism that the coming year will be characterised by significant progress and accomplishments.
The statement, issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, yesterday, extends warm festive greetings to residents both at home and abroad as they celebrate Christmas.
Starnews NG reports that Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted the festive season as a crucial time to reflect on the resilience, unity, and unwavering support of the people towards the growth and development of the Sunshine State.
He congratulated Christians for witnessing another Christmas celebration and offered prayers for peace, joy, and renewed hope to permeate every household across Ondo.
“2026 will be marked by greater accomplishments for our state,” the Governor stated, expressing confidence in the collective potential of the people to drive positive change. He encouraged residents to maintain the spirit of love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence that the season embodies, emphasising that mutual understanding and shared responsibility are essential for the stability and development of Ondo State.
