The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that 500 Last-Mile Buses will be rolled out in the state. According to the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, the rollout will continue until the state meets the target of 5,000 such buses. The buses are to serve as an alternative means to get into inner streets as opposed to commercial motorcycles, popularly known as Okada. Operatives of the Intelligence Response Team of the Inspector General of Police have arrested no fewer than seven newspaper vendors and distribution agents in Imo State. The National Business and Technical Examination Board has released the results for the 2020 Ordinary and Advanced level with 25,844 candidates scoring five credits and above with or without English Language and mathematics out of the 32,541 that sat for the exam. Amotekun Arrests Four-Man Kidnap Syndicate In Ondo State
Officials of the Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun have arrested a four-man kidnap syndicate in Akure, the state capital. The commander of Amotekun in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, while parading the suspects said they were apprehended after kidnapping three persons along Oda road in Akure during a night operation while it was raining.
