As Governor Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa marks his first 100 days in office, Adekunle Olubunmi Olumide, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ondo State, has commended the governor’s swift and impactful leadership, describing it as a promising beginning to his administration.
In a statement made available to Starnews NG, Olumide noted that within a short period, Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated a strong commitment to tackling key issues affecting the state.
She highlighted the governor’s focus on women’s empowerment, infrastructure development, healthcare enhancement, and social welfare programmes, all of which have started to deliver visible benefits.
According to the APC stalwart, the administration’s efforts to upgrade road networks have considerably eased transportation challenges, thereby boosting business activities and stimulating economic growth.
“Healthcare delivery has also improved, with more residents now able to access quality medical services within their communities,” she said.
Olumide further commended the governor’s concern for retired civil servants, noting that their gratuities and pensions have been paid promptly. She also praised the administration’s fiscal discipline reflected in the timely payment of salaries to active civil servants.
“Security remains a top priority for the administration and has received renewed focus, resulting in enhanced safety for residents and their properties across the state,” she added.
“These early achievements signal a government determined to promote inclusive development and improve the quality of life for all Ondo people,” the APC leader said.
She urged Governor Aiyedatiwa to maintain the momentum, emphasising that the people of Ondo State remain optimistic about the progress yet to come.
