Mr. Oluwagbenga Ayilola, the winner of Mr. Tourism Nigeria 2018, has called on the Federal government of Nigeria to collaborate the Ondo State government to immediately begin the exploration of Bitumen in Ondo South.
Ayilola made this called today when he was on tour to Agbabu, a community endowed with large deposit of natural bitumen in Ondo South of Ondo State.
He lamented the total neglect of Nigeria’s natural resources and cultural heritage by successive governments, which according to him, were not explored for economic purposes.
He appealed to the government to invest in tourism, explore other natural resources and stop depending on oil for economic survival.
