“These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:”

“But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

“And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”

“Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,”

“Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.” (Matthew10:510)

Above instructions of Jesus Christ to His 12 disciples were very clear. The message here is harvesting of souls for the kingdom of God. Every other thing is secondary.

I am deeply worried that many churches have lost focus today. Even some revered big churches are not left out. In some churches, it’s only the general overseer and few senior pastors and ministers are after the work of the gospel. Many others have derailed.

The fundamental assignment have been abandoned by many pastors and ministers. The focus is lost. Especially in our churches.

If I am to share my experience, in fact, I will write a book. Many pastors and ministers who are supposed to be the fishermen have become the fish. Those who are supposed to go after the lost sheep are now the lost sheep needed to go after.

No more sound doctrine in our churches. No more discipline and decent dresses. No more salvation messages. It’s all about money and money. The job of Christ has been abandoned. Only few ministers of God dedicate themselves to the work of the gospel .

Where do you belong? Is the gospel also lost in your church? If the gospel is lost, please don’t lost the gospel.

Repent today! The kingdom of God is at hand.

Say : Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sin. Forgive me. (confess your sin and rededicate) I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour, come into my life and remain there forever. Amen.
