Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman has replied governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers State by saying that killing is not in the character of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that governor Wike alleged recently that Federal government is planning to assassinate him.

Femi Adesina said:

“His Excellency loves to judge others by his rather low standards! That was the clincher. The opening salvo was that eliminating folks wasn’t in the character of his principal, the president. Fair enough!

“Again, for all it’s worth, the federal authorities should investigate the Wike claim, particularly the bit of feared use of legitimate arms and munitions to do him in. Wike is governor; and that office is a key democratic institution, which the constitution not only exults (as the head of the executive of the Nigerian federating unit) but also secures (with the full might of the Nigerian state)”, Adesina said.
