The General Overseer and Founder of Voice of Salvation Evangelical Ministry (VOSEM), Prophet Adekanle Damilola, has assured the body of Christ that the unexpected would happen as he prepares to celebrate the 3rd birthday anniversary of his ministry.

The event, which according to him, is preceded by a – 5 day power packed revival at Prayer Mountain (Orioke Oluwatobiloba) in Ode Aye, Ondo State, holds November 2, 2019. 

In exclusive interview with Akinrinlola Olumide, Publisher and Chief Editor of Starnews NG, the Man of God spoke on how he had encountered with God and what the people should expect as he marks the 3rd birthday anniversary of his ministry, among other things.

Can we meet you, sir?

“I’m Adekanle David Damilola also known as Prophet Adekanle Damilola”

Please tell us more about yourself, your ministry and how you were called by God?

“God has handed me an interdenominational ministry to monitor and take charge. I grew up being a member of methodist church Nigeria where I serve as a member of the choir and Boys Bridgade Nigeria under the umbrella of Methodist church. I was an instrumentalist in the choir and also a warrant officer. When I was young, precisely at the age of 12, I used to have strange dreams about the heavenly bodies, I could recollect several times, I used to see things that would happen in the future on the wall of houses as if I am watching a movie on television screen. On 14th March 1996, I fell sick and I couldn’t explain what was happening to me but I can recollect clearly that the heaven opened and the Angels of God appeared to talk to me. I started speaking a strange language that made them sought spiritual interpretation and solution of what I was saying and the then presbyter of Wesley Methodist Church in Ode Aye, Reverend Egunjobi told my grandmother that it was the call of God upon me to work for Him for the deliverance and liberation of many souls. However, as I grew up, my life style wasn’t like that of a person that has the call of God, but late in 2013, my spirit directed me to go and worship in a church called Christ Deliverance and prayerland ministry, Km 3, AYE – ORE road where I heard the voice of God that: “This Is Your Solution Ground”. From that time, I became a member of Prayer land, where the Lord met me and I became born again. On February 21, 2015, He appeared to me in a Vision that the time to heal, preach salvation, deliver the oppressed has come. He told me he has given me “the spirit of grace to deliver people and save them from all bondages. He brought out something that looks like a camera and ask me to look at the lens, and I did. Ever since then, I began to see spiritually things that ordinary physical eyes cannot see and understand them as well. God instructed me to begin a prayer meeting every Thursday and I started with just 2 people, late Comrade Lekan Arogundade and his lovely wife Mrs Arogundade. But we were later joined by some of their family friends and that was all I could say. Thereafter, God gave me an interdenominational prayer mountain popularly known as “Ori Oke Oluwatobiloba” @ Ode Aye, where thousands gather to observe prayer against all sorts of problems at every Thursday, coupled with several other weekly and monthly programs respectively. By the 2nd of November, 2019, we are celebrating our 3rd year birthday anniversary at the mountain which is preceded by a – 5 day revival program at the mountain (Ori Oke Oluwatobilola) at Ode Aye, Ondo State ) effective from 28th October 2019 to November 1, 2019 with the title: The King’s Favour. I am using this opportunity to invite everyone reading this to this fire-brand and power-packed revival to come with their prayer requests and all sorts of problems before God.”

As you prepare for your annual anniversary, what should your people and every invited guest expect from God?

“We are three (3) years old. You all know that the figure is a significant figure spiritually .. It represents Trinity – God the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. For those who have faith, they should expect God’s miracles, healing and deliverance from long term problems. Many souls would also be converted unto Christ. The Heaven would open like that of samaria and like the day of Jesus Christ at River Jordan. Quote me, the unexpected would happen because anytime Heaven opens, God would carry out His Strange and Unusual works in the lives of His people. Testimonies will fill the air because the Holy Spirit is already on ground waiting for everyone that are coming.”

What is your message for the good people of Ondo State, especially as the 2020 gubernatorial election draws near?

“I have been praying that God should choose for who will paddle the canoe of this great state to the promise land ….  Let us invite God at this crucial time, let the electorates and political leaders seek the face of God before fielding and voting any candidate in the day of election.”

Do you have any message generally for Nigerians or the government?

“It is my prayer that God would visit us like he visited Samaria because we are presently experiencing famine and scarcity like the days of Samaria. The peace of God will come upon Nigeria, IJN!”
