Army Recruits 3,878 New Soldiers

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. General Yusuf Tukur Buratai, yesterday said the Nigerian Army is undergoing series of restructuring, where it would no longer be necessary to seek the services of external hands to effectively carry out its operations. Buratai made this known during the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 77th Regular Recruits Intake where 3,878 soldiers were enlisted into the Nigerian Army. He urged officers and men of the Army to continue to demonstrate professionalism and selflessness in the defence of Nigeria’s integrity from both internal and external aggression.
