Petrol shortage emerges in Lagos, Akure

THERE was panic, yesterday, as petrol shortage, characterised by long queues started to emerge in Lagos and Akure, the Ondo State Capital. Checks by Vanguard showed that some filling stations, especially independent marketers, did not have the product to sell to motorists and other consumers. In Akure, the Ondo State capital, some petrol stations were not selling fuel to residents yesterday, Starnews Nigeria can report. Some fuel stations were completely shut, while those that opened for business were not selling fuel. And the few stations that were selling fuel yesterday in Akure experienced unprecedented queues with residents and motorists struggling
