The Lagos State Government has expressed concerns over the uncontrolled use of plastics and pet bottles by Lagos residents and its negative effect on the environment. The government also declared formal ban on the use of plastics and pet bottles among all staff of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA).
