*Oyo assembly passes Makinde’s N50b supplementary budget* Oyo State House of Assembly yesterday passed into law, the N50 billion supplementary budget forwarded to it by Governor Seyi Makinde. The bill was passed after the consideration of the report of the Ad hoc Committee on Public Account and Appropriation headed by Mr. Akeem Mustapha, during yesterday’s plenary. The governor on Tuesday, in a letter sent and read on the floor of the house, requested the passage of the N50billion supplementary budget, saying the fund is to cater for three things, which were not captured in the passed 2021 Appropriation Bill.
