Ondo State University Students have taken to major streets in Akure, the state capital to protest hike in their school fees. Starnews reports that the protest has brought socio-economic activities in the state capital to a halt at the popular Market called “Oja Oba” in Akure, following a decision by the state government and the institution's governing council to approve an increase in the students' tuition fees from about thirty thousand to one hundred and eighty thousand naira.
