Aderemi Bamgbose Sen. Boluwaji Kunlere, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant for Ondo 2020 governorship election has said that no consensus candidate was adopted for the upcoming party primaries. Kunlere, a former Ondo South senator, said in a statement on Friday that at no time was PDP South-West Zonal Vice Chairman, Eddy Olafeso, adopted as the party’s sole candidate from Okitipupa Local Government Area. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that according to Kunlere, five governorship aspirants from Okitipupa LGA met on Thursday at Ode-Aye to discuss the fortunes of the party but two of them withdrew their aspirations
