The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has returned to Nigeria from Mecca in Saudi Arabia where he went on a lesser pilgrimage (also known as lesser hajj). The APC presidential candidate returned to Nigeria on Monday. Earlier, Tinubu said that he embarked on the trip to Saudi Arabia to observe lesser hajj to seek spiritual rebirth and pray for Nigeria. Nigeria, three others top World Bank debtors’ list

Chinese Govt Suspends Nigerians, Others From Entering China

The Chinese government has temporarily suspended entry into China by Nigerians and other nationals in Nigeria holding valid Chinese visas or residence permits. Nigeria’s inflation rate hits 13.7%, highest in 30 months

Nigeria’s inflation rose to 13.7 per cent in September, hitting its highest level since its 13.34 per cent rate of March 2018. The National Bureau of Statistics disclosed this in its Consumer Price Index report for September on Thursday. UAE reverses visa restriction on Nigerians -FG

The United Arab Emirates has agreed to resume visa issuance to Nigerians. The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, announced this via his Twitter handle on Wednesday. Sirika explained that Nigeria also permitted the operation of Emirates Airlines in Nigeria.
