Kogi election: PDP’s Wada rejects alleged fictitious results, says I won

The Kogi State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Musa Wada, has rejected the result of the governorship election being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission. Speaking during a media briefing on Sunday in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, he said the results that had been announced were fictitious. He particularly said the result for Okene Local Government Area of 112,764 for the All Progressives Congress and 139 for PDP was fictitious. Kogi poll: PDP accuses Gov Bello of purchasing PVCs

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused Governor Yahaya Bello of purchasing Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) from registered voters in Kogi State for N5000 each ahead of the November 16 governorship election. The Musa Wada Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation raised the alarm in a statement issued on Saturday by its spokesman, Faruk Adejoh-Audu. According to the PDP campaign organisation, agents of the state government have been traversing villages and communities offering registered voters N5000 in exchange for their PVCs.
