For the second time in about a week, the Federal Government has declared the Southwest Security outfit, Operation Amotekun, as an illegal entity not known to the constitution of Nigeria and which can never be allowed to stand. The Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, made the declaration in Abuja in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Dr. Umar Gwandu and made available to Vanguard on Thursday. Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has attacked the Federal Government of Nigeria for describing the ‘establishment of Amotekun’ as illegal, through a statement recently credited to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN).
