A 40-year-old gateman, Peter, while trying to prevent some armed robbers from leaving a hotel they robbed in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. Peter, a gateman lost his life in the early hours of Wednesday, May 11, 2022, after some armed robbers stormed Mabila Hotel in Ikorodu, Lagos, and attacked lodgers. Amongst the lodgers were two female, and male officials of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), who lost their phones, laptop, cash, and jewelry, to the robbers.
