Cash crunch hits Ondo, Osun, Edo, Kwara, others
Some states are experiencing cash crunch as the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) no longer dispense money and banks ration cash withdrawal Over The Counter (OTC) by depositors. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) blamed the situation on ‘uneven cash flow and huge withdrawal by depositors ahead of the festivities. An Abuja-based middle-aged man, who identified himself as Mustapha, has narrated how he uncovered a heap of Independent National Electoral Commission’s sensitive materials, comprising results and declaration sheets. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, governor of Kwara state, says the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in the state is not fit for human living.
