The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State has tendered his resignation. Shehu Buda dumped the APC and joined the Peoples Democratic Party. It was gathered that Buda defected from APC to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and declared support for the governorship candidate of the party, Dauda Lawal. Buda, giving the reason for his defection from the ruling party ahead of the 2023 general elections, said his decision was reached after a conclusion by his political associates. He appreciated the remaining members of the ruling party in his local government. Buda
