IPOB issues fresh ultimatum to FG, threatens mayhem over Kanu’s detention

The Indigenous People of Biafra has asked the Federal Government to release its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, on or before Sunday, August 8, 2021, threatening to enforce a total lockdown in the South-East geopolitical zone from Monday, August 9, 2021, if the ultimatum is not heeded. The group also maintained that self determination had never been found in any country’s constitution to be an offence.
