G.O.A.T! Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce wins historic fifth 100m world title as Jamaica sweeps the medals in Oregon

By Sedara Oluwadara Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce laid claim to being the greatest female 100m sprinter of all time when she won her fifth 100m world title at the 2022 World Athletics Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday. Fraser-Pryce led a Jamaican sweep of the event winning in a new championship record of 10.67 as Shericka Jackson ran a personal best of 10.73 for the silver medal while Tokyo Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah was third in 10.81. It was the third time this season that the 2019 champion has run 10.67 this season. She has now run under 10.70
