Flights grounded, passengers stranded as NAHCO Workers begin strike across airports

  Local and International flights across Nigeria’s airports on Monday morning were shut down as Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) workers embarked on strike over salary increment demand. Starnews Nigeria reports that at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos, NAHCO workers were not attending to passengers. They claimed they were on strike over alleged management's failure to increase their salaries in the face of the reality in Nigeria's economy.
