Fayose’s Trial: I Can’t Get Needed Documents And IPO Not Available, EFCC Lawyer Tells Court

For the second time in two weeks, the trial of the former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, over allegations of fraud to the tune of N2.2 billion, was stalled at the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos today. The counsel to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Rotimi Jacobs (SAN) told the court that he could not reach the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) in charge of the case and that documents needed were not available.
