The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in Lagos State have dumped the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi as they throw their weight behind the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu. Ahead of next year’s Presidential Election, key supporters and kinsmen of former President Goodluck Jonathan have endorsed the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as part of their commitment to having a Nigerian president of Southern extraction.
