Ondo State Magistrates' court sitting in Akure has remanded a man called Funmilayo Asojo for allegedly killing a peacemaker, Bamiduro Adewole, with a stone. The peacemaker was killed while settling a disagreement between the accused and a man who owed him a sum of N700 on Dec 28, 2022, at Ute in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State. The accused hit the 59-year-old man who was a security guard in a primary school with a stone in the head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he gave up the ghost two days after the incident.
