Six months after Irele Local Government Chairman, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Philip Ajimotokin had stopped the payment of levies by market traders until government presence is felt in the market, the Hon. Chairman and the Market traders today have agreed unanimously to begin the collection of levies from next market. Recalling, shortly after his swearing-in as Executive Chairman, Hon. Ajimotokin deliberately suspended collection of levies and rates from all market traders in Irele Local Government until government presence is felt in the markets.
