APC expels council chairman for ‘insulting’ Buhari

    The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled the party’s Caretaker Chairman for Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Alhaji Sulaiman Adamu, for making derogatory statements about President Muhammadu Buhari. The party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) ratified Adamu’s expulsion from the party at its 16th meeting on Wednesday in Abuja. A statement on Thursday in Abuja by CECPC Secretary, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, said the expulsion takes immediate effect.
