Fuel Tanker Rams Into Moving Caterpillar In Anambra

A tanker laden with about 40,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit on Thursday rammed into a moving caterpillar, the Anambra State command of the Federal Road Safety Commission has revealed. Mr Andrew Kumapayi, Sector Commander of FRSC in the state said in a statement that the accident occurred near Upper Iweka on the Onitsha-bound lane of the Enugu-Onitsha expressway. Container Loaded With Card Readers For Anambra State Catches Fire

Fire on Tuesday at 2.30pm gutted a container at the Secretariat of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Awka, Anambra State. The Punch reports that the container contained card readers. Staff of the Commission fled their offices. As of the time of filing the story, firefighters were still battling to put off the fire. Security operatives, including army and police thronged the Secretariat to assist. However, no INEC official was ready to talk to the press.
