Report corroborated by an eye witness, Engr Ishola Obembe An independent report released by Professor Adepelumi A. Adekunle of the department of Geology, Earthquake and Space Weather Laboratory, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has revealed a different cause of the Explosion that rocked Akure on Saturday. The independent report contradicted the reason given by Ondo State Police Command as the cause of the Explosion. Recall there were media reports that an explosion rocked Akure around 1 a.m on Saturday morning.
