Africa Ranking: Nigeria Ranks 8th Position In Beef Production Despite Herders Crisis
South Africa has taken lead as the largest producer of beef in the whole of Africa following the 2019 report by the Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database (FAOSTAT). As at 2019, according to a Statistical survey by FAOSTAT, in a table sighted online by Starnews Nigeria, Nigeria is in the 8th position despite the herders’ crisis across the 36 States of the country. The table above shows that South Africa was the largest producer of beef in Africa in 2019 followed by Tanzania and Kenya.
