Sen Tofowomo Gifts Toyota Car To PDP Chieftain

Senator Nicholas Tofowomo representing Ondo South at the National Assembly, on Sunday, presented a Toyota Venza to Hon. Yetunde Dada, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Senatorial Women Leader of the PDP in Ondo South from Ileoluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

S.A Media and Publicity,to the distinguished Senator ,the car was presented at the accident thanksgiving service of Hon. Dada at Christ Chapel International Church, Ijapo, Akure, Ondo State.

Recall that Hon. Yetunde Dada and Sen. Tofowomo with three other chieftains of the PDP, escaped death on September 6, 2019, in a road accident on Ilesa-Akure Expressway in Igbara Oke, the headquarters of Ifedore Local Government Area of the state.
The car gift was to replace the damaged car of Mrs Dada which was involved in the accident on September 6, 2020.
Mrs Dada thanked God for saving her life and appreciated the Senator for his kindness.

FRSC seizes 222 trailers conveying 3,169 passengers The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) inter-agency task force has apprehended 222 trailers transporting 3,169 passengers across Niger, Bauchi, Taraba, and Kaduna states. The task force, established to curb the transportation of passengers alongside goods, aims to reduce road traffic accidents and associated casualties caused by the reckless conduct of trailer drivers. Mr Ali-Biu added that the corps had gone a step further by prosecuting recalcitrant trailer drivers aside the conventional enforcement of traffic regulations.
