Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has formally defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Fubara made the announcement on Tuesday, December 9, during a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Further details of the defection are expected to emerge as the governor addresses party members and the public on the implications of his move.
