Protesters Reconvene After Being Teargassed in Abuja

Protesters have regrouped and started a procession after they were dispersed by personnel of the Nigeria Police Force.

The police had repeatedly fired tear gas canisters at the protesters upon their arrival at the Eagles Square.

All the protesters and journalists scrambled for safety as the tear gas spread throughout the area.

The protesters who came back were heard chanting, “Tinubu hungry dey”.
