The youths who trekked from Cathedral through the popular Oja oba, to Oke eda and rounded it up at the party’s secretariat in Alagbaka area of Akure South LG said the step became necessary in order to showcase their candidate, a respected, responsible and successful business man who is ready to take over the leadership of the state in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

While speaking with Starnews NG correspondent, the convener, Hon Agbaje, said ” After we have made due consultation around, we have decided to throw our weight behind the candidacy of Otunba Bamidele Akingbaso, OBA, because we believe that he is the only one who is capable of giving a permanent solution to the lots of problems facing the state, ranging from Hunger, insecurity, unemployment among others. The youths are seriously hungry for a reliable, dependable, trustworthy, open-minded and kind hearted leader which we have found in OBA”

Agbaje added that the youths were tired of the current situation and need a vibrant aspirant like Akingboye who is ready to elevate Ondo to greatness.

Her position was echoed by National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) leader Dipo Falobi on behalf of other students who fully participated in the walk. He said, “OBA has proven that he is ready to work in the interest of the youths and the people of Ondo State ahead of the 2024 elections,” he added.
