Ondo 2020: Ilaje Diaspora Meet Okunomo, PDP Guber Aspirant

Hon. Banji Okunomo, the Gubernatorial Aspirant of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo-State, on Saturday, received the President of Ilaje National Association of United States of America ahead of Ondo State governorship election in year 2020.

Mr Enigbokan Kayode, President of the group met with Okunomo at Domfav Hotel and Suits in Okitipupa, Ondo State.

The visit had in attendance some illustrious Sons of Ilaje Nation, Dr Banji Ajaka, Otunba Richard Alomore, Chief Superintendent of Immigration, Mr Enikansaye Tokunboh, and Mr Ehinmore Jossy.

During the meeting, Okunomo  told the group through its president to support his aspiration of becoming the next governor of Ondo state come year 2020. 

While notifying the group of his intention to contest the Ondo State governorship election in 2020, Okunomo said his timely consultation is necessary because God has given His approval towards the governorship project.

Responding on behalf of the Association, Enigbokan said it is time for the group to support the aspiration of any Ilaje Man who is willing to contest for the exalted position in 2020 regardless of party platform .

He therefore promised to revert back to the larger  house when he returns to the United State to mobilise massive support towards the project.
