O.C General Hails Aiyedatiwa on Supreme Court Triumph

The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Afforestation, Bidemi Obayangban, popularly known as O.C General, has felicitated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his Supreme Court victory following the withdrawal of appeals filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) against his election.

Starnews NG had earlier reported that the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal filed by the PDP’s governorship candidate in the November 16, 2024, poll, Alfred Agboola Ajayi, who contested against Governor Aiyedatiwa.

Reacting to the apex court’s verdict, O.C General described the ruling and the withdrawal of opposition appeals as a resounding triumph for democracy and the people of Ondo State.

“This judgment marks the end of distractions. It is now time to focus fully on governance and development. Governor Aiyedatiwa has the people’s mandate; it has been affirmed by every legal authority up to the Supreme Court. I congratulate him on this historic victory and call on all stakeholders to rally behind his leadership,” O.C General stated.

He noted that the political stability brought about by the judgment would enable the governor to pursue his development agenda without further distractions.

According to him, Aiyedatiwa’s administration remains committed to delivering in critical sectors such as infrastructure, job creation, education, health and environmental sustainability.
