Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta, loses son

Popular Nollywood actor, Ibrahim Chatta, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his “son,” a loss that has shocked fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.

The actor announced the heartbreaking news on Saturday via his Instagram page, posting a picture of the late boy with the caption:
“Inna liLlahi wa inna ileyhi rajiun.
Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on Dear Son. Champ 💔💔💔💔.”

The post quickly drew an outpouring of condolences from fans, friends, and fellow actors. Actress Tawa Ajisefini wrote, “Haaaaa Subuhanallah. I’m so sorry uncle. Condolences.”
Actor Jamiu Azeez also reacted, saying, “Haaaaaa God pls have mercy on us oo dada this is too much o.”

As of the time of filing this report, it remains unclear whether the deceased was Chatta’s biological son or a close relative, as the actor did not provide further details.

The tragic news comes just days after the industry mourned another loss — veteran actress Peju Ogunmola’s only child, Ayomikun, passed away, leaving Nollywood in a wave of grief.
