Barring late minute change, 28 Football Association chairmen have concluded plans to pass a vote of no confidence on the Nigeria Football Federation NFF President, Amaju Pinnick led board today.

The Chairmen had on May 28 signed a notice on the Federation to vacate an exparte order that prevents the Congress meeting and also call for a General Assembly. The majority Congress men in a signed notice with their passports attached gave the NFF two-week ultimatum to do their request or face being impeached.

Following the expiration of the two-week ultimatum, the Chairmen who are drawn from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria have arrived the Nations capital and set to pass vote of no confidence on Amaju Pinnick led board. The NFF on their part had failed to apply for setting aside the court exparte order even after expiration of another two weeks ultimatum. This fuels their grievances.

Embattled Pinnick, we gathered, in a dying minute rush to save his face from the embarrasment, directed Chairman of Chairmen, Ibrahim Gusau and NFF Secretary General, Mohammed Sanusi to meet and settle with them. However, this seems too late as they rejected their pleas and concluded to go ahead and withdraw their mandate on the Amaju Pinnick led board.

BSN Sports gathered that the 28 FA Chairmen who have settled in an hotel in Abuja might pull the rug on the NFF Board today.
