Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has stated that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is unperturbed by rumors surrounding a potential merger among opposition parties.
According Politics Nigeria, In an interview on Thursday, January 9, Governor Sule asserted that the administration of President Bola Tinubu has implemented policies with long-term benefits for the Nigerian people.
The governor emphasized that Nigerians are beginning to experience the positive impact of these policies, while the country’s economy continues to show signs of growth under the leadership of the APC.
“Some of the policies of this administration are designed to bring lasting benefits that will positively impact ordinary Nigerians,” Sule said.
He dismissed concerns about the activities of opposition parties ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing that neither the APC nor President Tinubu is concerned with the rumored plans of opposition groups. Sule further downplayed reports of secret meetings among opposition leaders, labeling them as insignificant.
The governor encouraged Nigerians to continue supporting the current administration, expressing confidence in its ability to fulfill its promises.
“The leadership of our party is not losing sleep over these nocturnal gatherings,” he remarked.
