Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Thursday ordered the removal of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), from the courtroom after he became unruly midway into proceedings.
The judge had earlier ruled on three fresh motions filed by Kanu after the matter had already been adjourned for judgment, dismissing all three for lacking merit.
As the court prepared to deliver the ruling scheduled for Thursday, Kanu protested, insisting that the proceedings could not continue because he was yet to file his final written address.
Raising his voice, he accused the judge of bias and claimed that the court lacked knowledge of the law.
Following his outburst, Kanu was immediately escorted out of the courtroom, while Justice Omotosho continued preparations to read the final judgment.
