I will not disappoint you, Okunomo Assures PDP delegates in Ondo

A frontline aspirant of the Peoples Democratic (PDP) in Ondo State, Banji Okunomo who is popularly known as BBO, has assured delegates in the forthcoming primary election of the PDP that he would not disappoint them if elected as the candidate of the party ahead of the October 10, governorship election in the State.

In a special release in Akure on Monday by Akinrinlola Olumide, the Director of Media and Publicity of Okunomo Campaign Organisation, the PDP aspirant urged the delegates to elect him in the governorship primary slated for July 22, 2020, for a generational shift to put the State on a new pedestal of hope and development.

Starnews NG reports that the PDP primary has been scheduled to hold on July 22, this year, while the governorship election is fixed for October 10, 2020, with about nine aspirants of the PDP jostling to pick the ticket of the party ahead of the poll.

“I appeal to all the PDP delegates to support me for the formation of a government that will guarantee equitable and reasonable participation of all the classes of people in the society including, Elders, Youth and Women in line with best practices in modern day democracy.”

“I am in this race to provide credible leadership that will develop the human capital potentials of Ondo State.”

“Majority of the delegates are in my generation. They are mostly youths like me. Our women can also see that I am very sensitive about gender equality to end all the discrimination against them.”

“The formation of my campaign structure from the ward to the local government and to State levels which involve the youths, women and the elders is a proof that I am in this race to provide good governance with the formation of a government that will guarantee equitable and reasonable participation of all the classes of people in the society including, Elders, Youth and Women in line with best practices in modern day democracy.”

“The delegates should not be distracted with peanuts. I urge them to support me so that we can work together to rescue Ondo State from the ruling APC and create the enabling environment for national resource mobilization and foreign direct investments to place our dear sunshine State on a new pedestal of hope and development,” Okunomo added.
