Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has officially approved the creation of four new agencies after signing four bills into law.
This move is aimed at boosting the state’s institutional development and promoting long-term growth.
The new agencies are the Kano State Social Protection Agency (KASPA), the Kano State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KASIAA), the Kano State Information and Communication Technologies Development Agency (KASITDA), and the Kano State Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (KASMEDA).
Governor Yusuf stated that the establishment of these agencies will help create more jobs, attract investments, and make the government’s initiatives more effective.
He warned that any violations of these new laws would face serious consequences, stressing the importance of following the law.
These laws are now part of Kano’s legal framework and are expected to bring innovation, support for small businesses, better regulation of advertising and signage, and improvements in public safety and service delivery.
Governor Yusuf expressed that these laws are more than just policies; they are essential tools for transforming the state and supporting its long-term development plans.
