Former Lawmaker, Akotogbo Community Thank Akeredolu For Upgrading Ondo Monarchs

A former member of Ondo state House of Assembly and Chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Iwalewa Afolabi, has Expressed gratitude to Ondo State Governor, Arakurin Rotimi Akeredolu over the recent elevation of some Monarchs in the State.

Starnews Nigeria reports that Hon. Afolabi appreciated the Governor for finding the monarchs worthy to be upgraded especially Ahaba of Ajagba, Odogbo of Omi, and Larogbo of Akotogbo.

He urged the upgraded monarchs to leverage the new opportunity to ensure peace and tranquillity in their domains.

In the same vein, the Larogbo Descendants Royal Association of Akotogbo has also appreciated Arakurin Akeredolu for upgrading the Obaship stool of Akotogbo land, the Larogbo of Akotogbo, in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.

In a statement signed by the association chairman Prince Sam Turoti and its secretary, Iwalewa Afolabi, the group congratulated the entire community and gave kudos to the Governor for extending the rare gesture to Akotogbo land.

The association also extended their congratulatory message to His Highness, Iwalewa Emoruwa, The Regent of Akotogbo Community over the new development.

They enjoined the Regent to bring the much-needed developments to Akotogbo land through constant engagement with government and private organizations
