In a shocking incident, players and officials of El-Kanemi Warriors Football Club were ambushed by armed robbers while traveling on the Jos-Bauchi road.
The team was returning from a match in Lagos when the attackers struck, targeting the convoy.
Several members of the team sustained injuries during the violent encounter, and personal belongings, including valuables, were stolen.
