Hon. Tomomewo Shemmy Favour, Member Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Ilaje Constituency II on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as fake the purported letter of her expulsion from the APC on social media.

Starnews Nigeria reports that a letter dated October 12, 2020, by the APC’s Exco in Mahin ward IV of Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State had stated that Favour was expelled from the party for anti-party activities.

The letter was signed by Olamigoke Ajimuda, and Omosule Taide, Chairman and Secretary of the Ward according to the designation put in the said letter.

But reacting on Wednesday, Hon Favour, said she does not have knowledge of any such letter.

In a statement she signed, Favour asked her teeming supporters to disregard the rumour, describing it as a threat that deserves no attention.

”I have been restrained by many natural and non natural causes not to react to some gullible minded persons that are been brainwashed and used as tools of destruction to concoct one letter or the other. One of such is the purported expulsion rumour circulating on the social media platforms that;

”I, HON TOMOMEWO SEMILORE FAVOUR, has been expelled from the APC at my ward level. I make bold to tell all and sundry that I remain a bonafide member of the APC since such alleged expulsion letter has neither been transmitted to me nor received by me.

”I therefore appeal to all right thinking citizens of Ilaje local Government and Ondo State, in general, to disregard this rumour as it is just a threat that deserves no attention,” she wrote
