Community leaders solicit support for development of ikale land

His Royal Highness, ADEGBEMIRO AKINBUWA, The Oloja of Agbabu – Ikale land and his team including Ikale community leader, Lord Omowole Omogoroye (aka Omo-Omo) were in Abuja to vehemently solicit support from the Federal Government and the Ikale indigenes living in Abuja for the massive development of Ikale land. Agbabu and environ is a blessed community in Aye Kingdom under his Royal Majesty Oba Williams Akinmusayo Akinlade, Uyi – Oba 1, The Halu of Aye Kingdom in Okitipupa LG, Ondo State.

The team visited the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steels Development; and the Nigeria Mining Cadastral Office, Abuja to emphasize landowners’ consent and mineral resources (BITUMEN) exploration and exploitation within Ikale land in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Moreover, The team also paid a courtesy call on the Inspector General of Police to canvas for Government support on security of Ikale land and its environs.

The Team capitalized on the golden opportunity, reaching out to prominent sons and daughters of Ikale enclaves residing in Abuja to drum support towards the development of Ikale land. He made them realize the reasons they should come home to invest. He also called on those that are still in active service not to forget their father’s land, rather they should use every available opportunity at their disposal to influence the development of Ikale land.

The Oloja prayed for Ikale indigenes in Abuja and the entire Ikale land. Among those visited are: Barr. Akin Arikawe OON (The President of Ikale Progressive Association, Abuja) Barr. Akeremale Abayomi (CP (RTD)), Barr. Festus Kayode Idepefo, and some Ikale indigenes at the directorate cadres in Federal Ministries such as Mr Stephen O. Awoseyi, Mr Pius Adewinle, Mr Funsho Akinlonu and a host of others.
