Betty Akeredolu visits MATO, says society would be better with people like him

It was a moment of excitement and joy in the Portharcourt home of the Okeigbo, Ondo State-born business mogul and politician, Hon Mathew Oyerinmade popularly known as MATO as the Ondo First Lady, Her Excellency, Arabinrin Betty Akeredolu paid an unscheduled visit to him in portharcourt on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

While welcoming the wife of the Governor of Ondo State and her entourage to his residence, MATO expressed surprise at the visit by the first lady and her team and thanked her profusely for the pleasant surprise.

In his words” let me on behalf of myself, my dear wife and Children thank your Excellency for this great visit to me, we will ever cherish this moment. Let me also thank you for the yeoman’s job you are doing in touching lives positively in our dear State, your intervention using the instrumentality of your NGO “BRECAN,BEMORE FOWOSO etc are well felt by the people, and history will always be kind to you ma.

Welcoming especially the First lady on the visit, Mrs Angela Nkem Oyerinmade, wife of Hon Matthew Oyerinmade( MATO) eulogies the leadership and compassionate traits embedded in the first Lady and said that the good People of Ondo State especially the women folks will not forget her immeasurable contributions to the fight against breast cancer as her NGO is doing great in this regard to create awareness among women all over the state and beyond.

In her remark, The first lady thanked MATO and his wife for the hospitality and love shown to her and her entourage on very short notice.
She describes MATO as a forthright and quintessential personality that can be trusted anytime with positions of responsibility.

“Let me thank you and your dear wife for the love shown to me and my team despite the unscheduled nature of this visit. We are most delighted with all you do. With people like you, society will be a better place to live

“We shall continue to do our best within and outside Government to touch people’s lives positively, it is in our consciousness that the best work anyone can do is to work for humanity and this we shall continue to do as long as we live” she said.
