Speeding driver kills pedestrian in Akoko

Tragedy struck yesterday in Ikare-Akoko in the Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State, as a fatal mishap claimed the live of a middle-aged woman identified as Falilat Ibrahim. It was gathered that the incident occurred along the dual carriage way in Igbede axis in Ikare. Eyewitnesses disclosed that the accident was caused by excessive speeding and loss of control by the driver of the car. Ebonyi police rescue child sold to Anambra man for N355,000

The Ebony State Police Command has busted a child trafficking syndicate, which allegedly stole and sold a child for N355,000.   The police also rescued the stolen child from the syndicate who stole the child from its mother in the state and sold it in Anambra State.
