A group of stakeholders in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state, under the auspices of the Sunshine Progressive Vanguard (SPV), has criticized the process of nominating Party Adhoc delegates, in preparation for the forthcoming primary elections in the state. The Adhoc delegates are expected to elect candidates for the party during the primary election. Lyon Demote Defender For Farting In Dressing Room, Laughing About It
Ligue 1 team, Lyon, demoted its defender, Marcelo, after he was caught farting in the dressing room and laughing about it. Lyon had confirmed last August that the defender had been demoted to the reserves due to "inappropriate behaviour". Police arraign four Chrisland staff for covering up sexual acts
The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned four staff of Chrisland Schools, Lagos State, for allegedly covering up sexual acts involving some pupils of the school. The staff were arraigned on Tuesday before a Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court on two counts of conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and covering up sexual acts. 2023: INEC rejects extension of deadline for party primaries
The Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has stated that the June 3 deadline for political parties primaries and other timelines for the 2023 election remains sacrosanct. Yakubu said this at INEC’s quarterly consultative meeting with leaders of 18 registered political parties on Tuesday in Abuja.
